Lake Oahe is at or about at full pool. The fishing last year was excellent for walleye, and smallmouth, with a lot more northern pike showing up due to the high water.

Salmon fishing was still spotty but some good catches turned up. We have had great spawning runs for the last 3 years and I would expect fishing for all species to be even better than previous years.

Look for July and August to be among best months, as cold spring snow run off could keep lake temperature's low early. The average size of all species has improved and Oahe is the closest destination to Nebraska, Iowa, and the Midwest for this kind of quality fishing.

Hope to see you.
